It's carnival time again here in London, I had not been there in about 10 years until today,.While walking around I noticed these ladies were getting these young girls ready, and I could see that they were with an African float (party truck), Happy days being African myself, so I deicided to take a couple of pictures of the very young gilrs. The ladies responsible for this actually promote Afriacan and Caribbean culture through Education, Drama, Music, Drumming and Dance, and the young girls could certainly dance. I was feeling a bit down cast one day and decided to go for a walk around the London eye, and came accross, this young fellas sommersaulting all over the place, and there was this boy who had not tried a particular stunt before, and he asked the others who knew how to do the move, how to rotate his body to get the move, and kept on trying, at the end he couldn't do it as good as the other boys, but he did learn how to do it, because he was not afraid to try. So to everyone that feels, they can't do the very thing their heart desires, be bold enough to try, try and try again. They certainly raised my spirits.

This is one of my first intended shots, done 3 years ago with the help of my daughter. We used to live very near Wimbledon common, and used to go for strolls. We started collecting stones on our strolls, and took some shots of the stones, of which this is one. It is one I am very proud of.

I first came accross this tumbling telephone boxes in 1999, while registering with a recruitment agency in Kingston. I thought the sight was unique. I kept meaning to catch a shot of the boxes, but always left my camera at home, whilst visiting the area, I finally remembered a about a month back. Now that we all have mobile phones, not many of these boxes are left around, and when you do find one, it's usually not these red ones, so here's to remembering the not so distant past.

Another one from my Strolls around the London Eye. There's always one thing or another happening around the london eye, and this lady and her male companion were performing at Waterloo. I keep feeling one day, one of them is going to pick me from the crowd and ask me to pay for all the pictures I take, perhaps I should drop a pound or two.
